![]() Without video, it's not possible to see what the supplied driver disk is doing if you insert it into the drive. Just be aware that if you have Windows 8.1 installed on the PC you intend to use this card in, you might have an issue getting the correct drivers installed. However, I upgraded to the latest Windows 10 drivers downloaded from NVidia. The card worked with the Microsoft supplied drivers. After the new drivers installed, the card worked fine. I downloaded new NVidia 8.1 drivers from NVidia and was able to install them remotely. The supplied CD did not have Windows 8.1 drivers, just Windows 8, which didn't work. Thankfully the PC is networked and I was able to log in remotely using Remote Desktop. The PC booted and was running Windows 8.1, but all I had on the display was the Windows 8.1 logo. ![]() This was the least expensive card I could find that worked with Windows 10.Īfter installing the card, I had no video in Windows 8.1. The NVidia card in the workstation was not compatible due to the fact that NVidia didn't write Windows 10 drivers for it. I bought this card in order to upgrade an older Dell workstation that was running Windows 8.1, to Windows 10.
